Remembering Jan. 30, 2013: Tornado with 160-mph winds ravages parts of Adairsville, then Gordon County. One died, 17 were hurt and more than 350 homes and buildings were damaged.

From the National Weather Service’s history post: In 2013, a destructive high-end EF-3 tornado moved across Bartow and Gordon counties in the late morning hours with the city of Adairsville taking a direct hit.
