2.1-magnitude earthquake rocked Chattooga/Mentone area Wednesday morning.

Things were shaking in Chattooga County and in Mentone as a 2.1-magnitude earthquake was recorded around 2:37 a.m. Wednesday. The epicenter was 6.5 miles from Mentone, around 30 miles from Rome and 31 miles from Calhoun, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It was 1.4 miles below the surface.
