Two-vehicle accident on Ga. 101 at Pleasant Valley kills 50-year-old Silver Creek man, injures two others Saturday afternoon.

A Silver Creek man has died following a two-vehicle collision on Ga. 101 and Pleasant Valley Road SE. Scotty Anthony Garner, who turned 50 in September, died from injuries sustained in the crash, says Assistant County Coroner Brent Whatley. Floyd County Police Officer Benji Newport says the accident was called in around 12:50 p.m. Saturday.… Read more
