  Buffalo Luke’s, the new restaurant coming to the former Cheeseburger Bobby’s location at 273 Highway 53 in Calhoun, is slated to open on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Dining: New ‘Brunch Bill’ in effect today. Local restaurants eager to offer liquor sales at 11 a.m. with brunch menu.

  The new ‘Brunch Bill’ goes into effect today now allowing Sunday liquor sales at restaurants beginning at 11 a.m. (it was previously 12:30 p.m.). The bill passed by almost two-thirds of the vote: 1,925 people voted yes vs. 1,019 voting no. Local restaurants are excited to serve alcoholic beverages with their brunch service today.… Read more
