Education: Georgia Northwestern sees 15.7% surge in enrollment this fall vs. 2018.

  Media release: According to enrollment numbers gathered by the Technical College System of Georgia, Georgia Northwestern Technical College has seen a 15.7% enrollment increase between the fall 2018 and fall 2019 semesters.   The state board of the Technical College System of Georgia  approved grants totaling $6 million to establish new College and Career Academies in Catoosa County — in partnership with Georgia Northwestern Technical College — and Muscogee County. Matthews Contracting was struck by a hauling truck Monday morning while working on the repaving of part of Turner McCall Boulevard, says Joe Schulman, District 6 communications officer for Georgia DOT. If you look at the November media release on Austria’s voestalpine AG financial performance for the first half of the year, you’d think expansion is not a priority.
