Kenny “Odell” Justice, age 75, of Silver Creek, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday evening, May 4, 2022, surrounded by family that loved him dearly.
Odell was born in Rome, Georgia on September 24, 1946, son of the late Kenny Lee Justice and the late Lucille Bray Justice. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Lamar Justice. Odell was a devout Christian and was a member of Gideon’s International. He wore many hats while on this earth as a father, papa, IRS agent, landlord, teacher, and chicken farmer. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. Odell was a friend to all and was always willing to help others any way he could.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Milich Talley Justice; two daughters, Jina Justice Ford (Scott) and Kristen Justice Petro (Greg); three bonus daughters, Angie Talley Ingram (Chris), Jennifer Talley Laney (Seth), and Sharon Talley; a sister, Mary Alice Bing; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 5 until 7pm. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Justice will be cremated following the visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
