Four years ago, the last time UGA met Alabama for the title game, these were the cookies available from Doug’s Deli Downtown. A new batch is ready for this evening. Facebook photo.

With kickoff set for after 8 tonight, several area businesses are catering to Georgia and Alabama fans with special hours and extended to-go menus. The game is on ESPN.

Foundry Growler Bar reopens after maintenance, inventory: Those looking for take-home supplies for the game — growlers and such — will find The Foundry at Fifth Avenue and Third Street back in service today following a week of “counting, cleaning and repairing that took longer than we thought.” Today’s hours: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. One note: The food menu will be limited “as we prep as quickly as possible to get items ready.”

River Remedy Brewing Co. open for tonight’s game: Normally the Glenn Milner Boulevard pub is closed on Mondays but will open this evening for the game. “Doors open at 6 p.m. Kickoff at 8 p.m. Bring your favorite game-day snacks and try some your favorite beers here.” Growlers to go as well.

Doug’s Deli Downtown is offering a tailgate menu for takeout this evening. On tap for the “UGA vs. Bama Watch Party” are sticky fingers (with ranch) with Mac n cheese and Parmesan oven fries. Also dips, chicken salad, pigs in a blanket, sausage balls and team-specific cookies. Pickup is between 4 and 7 p.m.
