Deacon John T. Searcy, age 76, of Rome transitioned peacefully January 7, 2022. Deacon Searcy was known to all that loved him as JT. He was a faithful member of New Life of St. John Baptist Church and a trusted Employee and Friend of F. K. Jones Funeral Home. He worked for the City of Rome for many years and served with honor.

Jerry Lee Lambert, age 58, of Rome, GA, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022.

A native of Rome and Floyd County, Jerry was born December 7, 1963, son of the late Elton E. Lambert and Mary Frances Pilcher Lambert. He was a graduate of East Rome High School and attended Floyd Training Center. Jerry loved bowling, doing his artwork and was always ready to go shopping.

Jerry is survived by his sister, Tina Gail Tutt, and twin brother, Terry Lee Lambert. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, including Crystal Gail (Craig) Moore, Jessica Renee Tutt, Gregory Tutt, Lindsay Kaye (Austin) Davis, Kelsey Briana Tutt, Lauren Olivia (Dylan Bowen) Tutt; great nephews, Damion Malik Frazier, Camron Isaac Frazier, and Jaiden Ritchie Frazier; great nieces, Carlie Gail Moore, and Ariana Kelise Frazier. Caregivers, Lamar and La-French. Special friends, Bianca Dean and Steve Dobbins also survive.

A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be Sunday afternoon, January 9, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in the Alvis Miller Chapel of Salmon Funeral Home.
