**** What We Have Learned
Yesterday, at about 7:45 p.m., (the boy) was discovered to be missing. His father checked with all his friends and neighbors and walked to all the areas he thought (the boy) might be. At about 10:00 p.m. (the boy’s) father notified Bartow County 911 and the Adairsville Police Department. The police department immediately entered (the boy) as a missing person through the National Crime Information Center. A BOLO (Be On the LookOut) was also sent out to all surrounding agencies. Unfortunately, this case does not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert.
Currently, it is known that (the boy) packed a backpack with 3-4 changes of clothing, his WiFi only cell phone, and possibly a pair of earbuds before leaving. We are unaware of his means of transportation.
