Mrs. Estella McCrary, age 77 of Aragon, Georgia (Seney Community) passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at a local hospital following a brief illnesses.
Homegoing service is incomplete, but will be announced later by Wright Memorial Mortuary, Inc.
Jennifer Ann Guelberg, age 43, of Rome, GA, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
Jennifer was born in Westwood, New Jersey on Feburary15, 1978. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman & Erna Guelberg, and by a brother; John Guelberg. Jennifer was an extremely hard worker, and a long-time employee of Tyson Bakery. She had a phenomenal sense of humor! Jennifer was best known for her giving & caring nature, her door was always open for anyone. She loved to “coupon”, collect candles and shoes, and experiment with her hair & makeup. Jennifer was always crafting, doing DIY project, and cooking. She was a big NY Giants fan. More than anything, she loved her children and family and would do anything for them.
Survivors include her children, Natasha Muir, Leighton, and Fabian; parents, John & Jamie Guelberg, and Nancy Smith; sisters, Kristy Hochschild, Kateyanne Hochschild, and Elizabeth Hochschild; brothers, James McVoy, and Shawn McVoy; very close friends, Crystal Harris, Janette Williams, Annbreese Ealy, Tamelsha Willis, LeSheena Davenport, and Berenice; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Brooks officiating.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Sunday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are requested at both the visitation and funeral service.
Mr. Lewis Bryan Evans, age 82, of Rome, GA, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021.
Lewis was born in Floyd County, Georgia on October 15, 1939, son of the late Clabe Evans Sr. and the late Rachel Iowa Bryan Evans. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Eugene Evans, Clabe Evans Jr., and Lamar Chandler Evans. Lewis retired from Georgia State Patrol and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. He was a long-time member of the New Armuchee Baptist Church and taught several different Sunday school classes for many years, and also served in the church choir and as a deacon. Lewis was a long-time member of Armuchee Ruritan Club serving in many positions. Lewis was a devoted husband & father. He loved his family, and he will be missed by all.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Evans; daughter, Krista Evans Greene; son, Neil Evans; brother, Bobby D. Evans (Dorothy); sisters-in-law, Eunice Evans, and Jean Evans; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 2:00 pm at New Armuchee Baptist Church with Dr. David Howard and Mr. Carson Fellows officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at New Armuchee Baptist Church, on Tuesday from 12:00pm until 1:45pm. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are requested at both the visitation and funeral service.
