Acworth man faces murder charges in the death of a Rome mother of four.

An Acworth man faces murder and other charges following a weekend shooting that left a Rome woman dead.

Calvin Bernard Crockett Jr., 42, is charged with felony murder; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; purchase/possession/distribution of marijuana; aggravated assault; tampering with evidence; and terroristic threats and acts, according to Floyd County Jail reports. He was being held without bond as of Wednesday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as Shaina Underwood, a mother of four. A memorial fund for her services and survivors has been set up on Facebook.
