14.12 acres facing U.S. 411 and Callier Springs Road has been purchased.

With more than 1,000 new homes proposed just down nearby Chulio Road and another development with 1,241 residences brewing at the Bypass and U.S. 411, activity was bound to heat up on property near the East Rome Walmart.

That latest domino has clicked as Martin Grantor Trust has purchased 14.12 acres across from Walmart starting at the intersection of Callier Springs Road. The deal is said to be worth $750,000.  There are no immediate plans for the site.

Craig McDaniel of Toles, Temple & Wright represented the seller.
