More signs that Buffalo Wild Wings is on the way: The new restaurant planned for the most recent home of O’Charley’s has filed paperwork to appear before Rome’s Alcohol Control Commission in November in a bid to secure needed pouring permits.

The arrival has been out since O’Charley’s closing was announced but, so far, nothing official from the restaurant chain. Renovations are under way at 737 Turner McCall Blvd. which is why the two large dumpsters are outside the entrance doors. The September building permits also “interior demo work … for Buffalo Wild Wings.”
