The Floyd County Board of Education meets with caucus at 5 p.m. and the board meeting at 6 p.m.
- Update: After Monday’s board meeting, the board will go into a closed meeting for personnel discussions to be followed by a work session. The state’s Open Meetings law allows governments to meet outside the public eye to discussion personnel, real estate and litigation. (Please see agenda below).
Monday’s Alcohol Control Commission meeting canceled. The next meeting is set for Monday, Oct. 18.
NAACP’s Rome Branch sponsors meet the candidates (via Zoom) for Rome City Commission beginning at 5:30 p.m.
