Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the area through Monday. Some of these storms could produce locally heavy rain, gusty winds and frequent lightning.

Today: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 66. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
