THE LATEST

Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Paulding, Haralson,
northwestern Carroll, Floyd, southeastern Walker, western Gordon,
Polk, Chattooga and western Bartow Counties through 800 PM EDT...

At 720 PM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms extended from near
Armuchee to near Lindale to Antioch to near Mount Zion, moving north
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds up to 40 mph, pea sized hail, frequent lightning and
         heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
         street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

OUTLOOK

Maybe two-tenths of an inch of rain Wednesday but dry other than that.

FORECAST

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 84.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59.
