As classes start today at Berry College, one of the newest additions is getting a closer look: the $15.7 million animal sciences building. You can take a 90-second tour on YouTube courtesy of a post from the college. What’s new:
“… A 23,000-square-foot classroom and laboratory building … adjacent to the existing McAllister Hall science center. This $15.7 million facility is designed specifically for laboratory-based activities such as cours es in veterinary microbiology and reproductive physiology, as well as to facilitate and enhance research involving faculty and students.” — from an earlier Berry release.
Berry’s Campus Carrier previously reported that the addition “will feature a 60-seat auditorium styled classroom, as well as two ‘Technology Enabled Active Learning’ classrooms. This technology will allow for a format of teaching that encourages interactive learning and collaboration for students. It will also include eight labs for student instruction and research, all filled with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.”
Most of those amenities are featured in the video.
