Floyd Police charge two men in separate child/sex cases Thursday.

 

A Lindale man and a Rome man are in the Floyd County Jail Friday morning, each held in what appears to be separate chases involving sex and children, records show.

  • Jonathan David Yarbrough, 21, of Lindale faces four counts after being arrested by Brittany Heffelfinger of the Floyd County Police Department on Thursday: electronically furnishing obscene material to minors; sexual explotation of children; obscene Internet contact with a child; and criminal attempt to commit at felonly.
  • Mark Vince Sullins, 50, of Rome, was arrested at the Economy Inn by Amy Nails of the Floyd County Police Department on Thursday on these counts:¬†Sexual battery; statutory rape; and child molestation.

Both were being held without bond.
