Mr. Karl Thomas Peacock, age 69, of Lindale, GA, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021, at a local hospital.
Mr. Peacock was born in Wichita Falls, TX on May 15, 1951, son of the late Roy Thomas Peacock and the late Frances Louise Ingram Peacock. He attended Pepperell High School and was a former employee of the Rome-Floyd Fire Department, retiring after serving for 18 years. He later retired from Temple-Inland. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Harman Peacock of Anniston, AL; a daughter, Jennifer Peacock, Lindale; 2 sons, Cole Peacock (Maria), Sugar Valley, GA and Dylan Peacock, Rome; 2 sisters, Colleen Napier (Bud), Manchester, KY and Karen Jones, Rome; 3 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Cobb and the Rev. Joel Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Sunday, May 2, 2021, from 4 until 6pm. At other hours, they may be contacted at their respective residences.
Pallbearers serving are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Monday at 2:30pm and include: Dennis Ingram, Tim Ingram, Ron Ingram, Jerry Ingram, Randall Ingram and Glenn Ingram.

Mrs. June Carolyn Beasley Wood, 84, passed away peacefully at home on May 1st, 2021 at 7:21am.
She was born on July 26th, 1936 in Brewton, Alabama. She married George Jerry Wood on June 14th, 1953, and they were happily married for 67 years. They moved to Rome in 1954.
Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, going on mission trips, hosting foreign exchange students during the holidays, and being a very active member of Fellowship Baptist Church for many years.
She leaves behind her husband, Jerry Wood, three children: Graham Wood of Augusta, Melanie Wood of Rome, and Felisha Witt of Rome; five grandchildren: Candace Wood, Crystal Wood Oerman, Matthew Wood, Erica Usry, and Hannah Witt; and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Otha Beasley, mother, Sally Beasley, and brother, Sammy Beasley.
Graveside and interment services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday May 5, 2021 at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
