From the Georgia State Patrol:

On April 24, a trooper from the Georgia State Patrol Post 3 Cartersville responded to a one-vehicle crash involving a Mitsubishi box truck on Ga. 140 in Bartow County. The preliminary investigation determined the box truck was traveling east on Ga. 140. The truck failed to maintain its lane of travel by leaving the southside of 140. The driver, a 21-year-old male, overcorrected, causing the box to rotate counterclockwise into the westbound lane. The driver again provided steering input, causing the vehicle to rotate clockwise. The box truck traveled into the eastbound lane and rolled onto its left side. The truck came to a rest partially off the southside of Ga. 140. The driver suffered a serious injury and was air lifted to an Atlanta hospital. A passenger, 21, escaped injury. The accident report …i s incomplete at this time.

WBHF reports the accident was near Landers Road in Rydal.

A crash at Shorter Avenue and Burnett Ferry Road Saturday night had traffic stacked up with repairs to the light expected later today.
The crash scene was cleared by 10:15 p.m. Saturday but Rome Police said it would be today before the traffic light was working properly. No injuries reported. A vehicle traveling westbound on Shorter turned in front of a vehicle traveling eastbound, initial police reports show.
