Church Street Bridge Closed – Mercedes Commercial Filming 3/31/21. Church Street Bridge will be closed Wednesday morning, beginning at 6 until 11 a.m. at the latest. You’ll need to determine a detour that will work best for your route.
Rome’s tourism office has partnered with several area restaurants and bars to offer a Flavor Venture that invites participants to tour and enjoy area flavors at their leisure. Stops include The Foundry Growler Bar, Harvest Moon Cafe/Dark Side of the Moon, Off Broad Lounge at Hawthorn Suites and Courtyard Rome Riverwalk.
It focuses on drink tastings each is valued at a minimum of $5. Participants can opt to experience all the flavors in one day or break it up over several visits. The package is available through July 3. The cost is $20 and can be purchased at the Welcome Centerat 402 Civic Center Drive or at the Rome Area History Center Gift Shop and Downtown Welcome Center at 300 W.
