  the Coosa River near Rome Mayos Bar L & D Park.
* Until further notice.
* At 5:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 28.4 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
* Impact...At 29.0 feet, Minor flooding continues to expand further
  into the woodlands...fields and pastures along the river upstream
  and downstream from the gage on the old Lock and Dam behind the
  Trading Post. The water will reach the top of the old Lock and Dam
  structure.
The Flood Warning continues for
  the Oostanaula River near Resaca.
* Until Tuesday afternoon.
* At 5:15 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 26.9 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
  Tuesday morning and continue falling to 14.6 feet Thursday evening.
* Impact...At 26.0 feet, Minor flooding continues to expand further
  into the woodlands...fields and pastures along the river upstream
  and downstream from the gage on U S Highway 41 or Battlefield
  Parkway.

  the Oostanaula River near Rome US Hwy. 27.
* Until this morning.
* At 4:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 25.2 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 15.9 feet Thursday
  evening.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
  occurs in the woodlands and fields along the river upstream and
  downstream from the gage on the Turner McCall bridge or U.S.
  Highway 27. The Heritage Park Rome Greenway continues to flood
  with some locations up to 5 feet deep. All drainage valves must be
  closed at the outfalls in Rome. The flood gate on the Rome levee
  should be closed.
The Flood Warning continues for
  the Armuchee Creek near Armuchee.
* Until this afternoon.
* At 4:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 22.3 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this
  morning and continue falling to 16.0 feet this evening.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Minor flooding expands further into the
  woodlands...fields and pastures along the creek upstream and
  downstream from the gage on Old Dalton Road.

FORECAST

This Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 1pm, then a chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 60 by 3pm. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 65. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
