Business: Courtyard by Marriott to make formal debut in Cartersville Chamber ribbon-cutting April 15: 4 stories, 114 rooms, 4 suites.

 

Cartersville’s new Courtyard by Marriott adjacent to the Clarence Brown Conference Center off Ga. 20 gets a formal Cartersville-Bartow Chamber ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 15. It will be followed by a Business After Hours reception beginning at 4 p.m.

The hotel opened recently, offering four floors wih 114 rooms and four suites. Also under roof: Two meeting rooms for a total of 945 square feet of gathering space. The hotel is smoke free and does not allow pets.

According to the website:

  • The rooms feature plush bedding, ergonomic workstation, complimentary Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, microwave, and a 55-inch flat screen TV with streaming capabilities for Netflix.
  • The lobby offers comfortable seating for conversation and private media pods to keep you connected.
  • The Bistro, our on-site restaurant and bar, is open for continental breakfast, Starbucks coffee and evening cocktails (currently closed for dinner.)
  • Also included: 24-hour fitness center, outdoor pool and a patio featuring a fire pit.
