Mrs. Doris Aleta Warnock Warren, age 82, of Rome, GA, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021, at a local nursing home.
Mrs. Warren was born in Pennville, GA, on July 14, 1938, daughter of the late Charlie Tom Warnock and the late Lula Mae Worsham Warnock. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Cellie Lee Warren, and by 7 siblings. Mrs. Warren was a retail manager at Claire’s Boutique for many years at their location in Dalton as well as Mt. Berry Square Mall. She was a member of East Rome Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Warren Brewer, Rome; 2 grandsons, Andy Brewer, Smyrna, TN, and Kyle Brewer, Rome; 2 sisters-in-law, Gail Jenkins (Jesse), Rome, and Edna Dunaway, Armuchee; nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021, at 3pm in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jackson Davis officiating. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 1pm until 2:15pm at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Ms. Eloise Mitchell, age 83, passed away on Sunday, February, 7, 2021, at her residence.
Graveside service will be Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Morning View Cemetery, GA-53, Rome, Georgia 30161.

Mr. Gary Tutt, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, February, 9, 2021, at a local medical center.

Robert Norwood Fowler went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 5, 2021.
Mr. Fowler was born in Atlanta, GA, on August 30, 1927, the son of the late Homer and Nellie Fowler. Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Emma Pauline, on April 14, 2019.
Mr. Fowler served in the US Navy from 1945 – 1949. After being discharged from the Navy, he received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Georgia Technical Institute. After graduation, he began working for General Electric and retired from the company in 1986 after 36 years of service. Mr. Fowler and his wife, Pauline, were charter members of Garden Lakes Baptist Church. He served in many leadership positions and was named a Deacon for Life. He will be remembered as a loving, selfless husband, father, son, grandfather and great grandfather. He demonstrated a faithful life of love and dedication to his Lord, his church and his family.
Survivors include five daughters and their spouses, Jenny and Jerry King, Edmond, OK; Patti and Tom Blad, Edmond, OK; Terry and Garland Wade, Cindy and Johnny Rhyne and Becky and Bill Wiggins, all of Rome; 13 grandchildren, Jarrett King, Michael Blad, Brian Blad, Kristen Jeffries, Jim Wade, Sandy Mull, Wendy Pone, Jake Rhyne, Frances Warner, Dylan Brooks, Will Wiggins, Whitney Fore, Rachel Scott and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February, 12, 2021, at 12:00 noon at Garden Lakes Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Gentry officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are requested. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Garden Lakes Baptist Church. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
The family extends special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Seven Hills Place for the loving care and compassion shown to Robert over the past 3 ½ years.

Robert Leroy Mitchell, age 83, of Rome passed away Monday February 8, 2021 at his residence.
Robert was born on January 7, 1938 in Forsyth County GA. to the late Pennell and Mary Eugenia Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Lockheed after 35 years. Robert was a member of Mt. Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. He loved his Indian Ring-necked Parakeet. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sherry Marie Summerville Mitchell, daughter: Yolanda Wilson, siblings: Pauline Martin, Bernard Mitchell, Emory Mitchell, Pierce Mitchell, and Norris Mitchell.
Survivors include his daughter: Sonia Tharp, of Rome; grandchildren: Jeremy Mitchell, Joseph Wilson, Riley Lauderback, Zack Lauderback, and Kanan Lauderback; great grandchildren; brother: Sammy Mitchell, of Cumming; sister: Grace Hemrick, od Dawsonville; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Wilbanks officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens with American Legion Post #5 honor Guard presenting military honors. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until service hour on Tuesday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen: Kanan Lauderback, Zack Lauderback, Danny Carter, Jody Summerville, Luke Lambert, and Connor Grubb.
