A dense fog advisory through 11 this morning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Peachtree City. What to know:

- Across much of the state, including Northwest Georgia.
- Expect hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
There is a chance of thunderstorms across the area today into Friday. There is some potential for wintry precipitation in north Georgia for the weekend, mainly Saturday night into Sunday.
