A Kingston mother of two is dead following a three-vehicle collision on Euharlee Road Saturday morning just before the intersection of West Avenue, according to the Georgia State Patrol:

The GSP report shows the accident occurred around 10:15 a.m. when a motorist was driving east in the westbound lane. According to the report:

A Hyundai Elantra driven by Trevus Jamaahl Baugh was traveling east on Euharlee Road in the westbound lane. Vehicles drive by Dominic D’Agostino (Toyota Sienna) and Christopher Cassar (Chevy Silverado) were traveling west on Euharlee Road in the westbound lane.

The Elantra struck the Sienna on the front right area with its front right area. The Silverado’s front left area was damaged by debris resulting from the crash.

The area of impact was in the westbound lane of Euharlee Road approximately 0.1 miles east of Topridge Drive, and was determined based on gouge marks on the roadway, tire marks, debris on the roadway and surrounding area, and the statement of D’Agostino and Cassar.

After the initial crash, the Sienna was forced off the south edge of the roadway, where it slid down an embankment coming to a final rest. The Elantra rotated clockwise and came to
a final rest off the north edge of the roadway. After the crash, Baugh fled the scene on foot after failing to render aid or provide information.

The other drivers said they saw the Elantra traveling east in he westbound lane prior to the crash; D’Agostino said he attempted to avoid being struck but was unable to avoid
the crash.

D’Agostino’s wife, Shauna, 42, of Kingston was rushed to Cartersville Medical Center where she later died from her injuries. The husband and two daughters, 6 and 8, did not require hospitalization. Nor did Cassar, 21, or his passenger.
