The cold drizzle this Friday morning was making the commute bad enough. Now comes word from Georgia DOT of a major accident on I-75 south at Cass-White Road.

As of 7:25 a.m., there’s nothing but red on the southbound map from Adairsville past Emerson. The latest from DOT says two cars and a truck are involved; first responders don’t expect to clear the road until 9 this morning.

Best option now: U.S. 41 South.
