THE LATEST ON ETA

The storm now appears to be moving parallel to Florida’s West Coast with a collision course possible with the Panhandle over the weekend. We definitely need to keep it on our radar — even though it will lack the punch of Tropical Storm Zeta. Hurricane center

We’re still looking at up to an inch of rain between later today and Thursday morning.

FORECAST

Tuesday: A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after 10am. Cloudy, with a high near 77. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Tuesday Night: Showers likely, mainly after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Veterans Day: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 78. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Wednesday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
