PhyNet Dermatology, based in Franklin, Tenn., is coming to the medical office complex at 15 Riverbend Drive that is anchored by Northwest Georgia Medical Clinic. The company is leasing groundfloor space, says Jimmy Kelley of Hardy Realty. The “leased” sign is now up on the property. It is the latest Riverbend development, following news of a convenience store headed to the Second Avenue intersection.
The company describes itself as follows:
“Our mission at PhyNet Dermatology is to enable our affiliated physicians to focus on high-quality dermatological care while relinquishing the stress of management to enhance productivity and efficiency. PhyNet Dermatology is growing a national network of affiliated physicians with the shared desire to to relieve their administrative burden, collaborate with business professionals, and provide exceptional patient care vital to a thriving practice. By partnering with PhyNet Dermatology, you will be empowered to provide high-quality patient care while we focus on increasing your practice’s profitability and create efficient administrative systems to assist with your day-to-day management of your practice.”
PhyNet has affiliations in Cartersville and Columbus.
A different ‘spin’ on fitness in the Cotton Block. Downtown FIT is open and sets itself apart from others in town by distinguishing itself as “Rome’s only Women’s Training Studio.” The location is a familiar one — next to Moe’s Original Barbecue in Bridgepoint Plaza, most recently home to Spool of Dreams/EverJean (now at Blue Sky).
The owner and head trainer is Crystal Stewart. From Facebook:
“My goal as the owner of Downtown FIT is for any woman to feel comfortable walking through the doors of my studio. I strive to have a personal relationship with each client. I will help you figure out the best type of training and nutrition plan for your life, body, and your schedule. Can’t wait to meet you soon.”
