OUTLOOK

  • Forecast improving a bit for the weekend. Now we’re tracking under an inch of rain mostly Saturday into Sunday with gusts of 18 mph.
  • Showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible across north and central Georgia Friday through Sunday, in addition to a threat for heavy rainfall as the remnants of Hurricane Delta move through the Southern and Southeastern States. Depending on the exact path Delta takes, rainfall amounts are subject to change.
  • Rome River Jam on Friday, Saturday nights and Fiddlin’ Fest on Saturday are both “rain or shine.”
