Mr. Marvin Boyd “Bo” Campbell II, age 58, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020.

Bo was born in Rome, Georgia on July 30, 1962, son of the late Robert Edwin “Bill” Campbell, Sr. and the late Norma Anne Ramsey Campbell.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Teresa Campbell, by a brother, Robert Edwin Campbell, Jr., and by a brother-in-law, George Trotter, Sr..  Bo worked for a number of years as a carpenter and was a member of the Salvation Army Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Kathy Blansit (Wayne), Summerville, and Lawanna Trotter, Rome; a sister-in-law, Teresa Campbell, Lindale; his loving companion, Patricia Watson; nieces, Tonya Baker (Patrick Sissom), Tera Campbell (Brian), and Jennifer Moody (Clayton); nephews, George “Joe” Trotter, Jr., David Trotter, Adam Trotter, Spencer Campbell, and Eric Campbell; several great nieces and great nephews; his favorites aunts, Phyllis Pendley and Mary Evans; uncle, James Bunch; cousins also survive.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Mrs. Ellie Delores “Dee” Hinnant, age 87, of Rome, GA, passed away Friday evening, October 2, 2020.

Dee was born in Rome on June 9, 1933, daughter of the late Mossie Adeline Stephens Stewart and Cecil Paul Stewart, Sr. She had been in Rome and Floyd County all her life and was a graduate of Rome Girls High School. Mrs. Hinnant was a longtime member of Oak Hill Church of Christ. She was associated with Champion Garment for a number of years and prior to retirement, had worked as a crossing guard with the Rome City Schools. Dee loved karaoke singing and spending time with family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil Paul Stewart, Jr. and Charles William Stewart.

Mrs. Hinnant is survived by two daughters, Donna Hinnant Sprayberry, and Sharon Delores “Shari” Kisor, both of Rome; five grandchildren, Brian (Heather) Sprayberry, Bradley Sprayberry, Misty Jenkins, David Brinkley and Michael Kisor. Six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Dee will be Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home with Minister Michael Farris and Elder Steve Murdock officiating. Private interment will be Friday a in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

Dee’s family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the service hour.

James “Brian” Bunch, age 51, of Armuchee, GA, passed away peacefully Monday morning, October 5, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

Brian was born in Rome, GA, on June 28, 1969, son of James Lamar Bunch and the late Lynda Gail Johnston Bunch. He was a 1987 graduate of Pepperell High School and worked for several years with Lindale Manufacturing. Brian loved hunting and fishing, was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs fan but mostly wanted to spend time with family.

Brian is survived by his wife, Lynn Spratling Bunch, whom he married April 15, 1994; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Bunch of Armuchee; father, James Lamar Bunch of Cedartown, GA; sisters, Janie (Patrick) Giasson of Vancouver, Canada, Jacki Bunch of Cedartown, and Terri (Jim) Lombard of Swampscott, MA; brother, Jerry (Lisa) Bunch of Tuscumbia, AL. several nieces, nephews and other relative and friends, along with his beloved dogs, Spot, Ducky and Ellie, also survive.

Graveside and interment services will be Wednesday afternoon, October 7, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, 1893 Booger Hollow Road, Lindale, GA, with Rev. Ben Clements officiating.

Brian’s family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home Wednesday from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. Casual attire is encouraged.

Pallbearers will include Kenny McClure, Lane McClure, Kerry Eason, Greg Deaton, Jason Watson and Jimmy Watson. Gary LeCroy will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Roy Lee Clouse II, age 47 passed away Sunday October 4, 2020 in a Rome hospital.

Roy Lee was born March 28, 1973, in Douglasville, Ga. a son of the late Roy Lee Clouse I and Betty Jean Crowe Clouse. He was a member of Renovation Church. He loved fishing and was an avid Georgia Football Fan, he loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Cardin Clouse, son, William Lee Gerrin, daughter, Ashley (Wayne) Gerrin Matthews, grandchildren, Lilah Allen, Jayce Allen, Madelyn Matthews, Isabella Matthews, Dragun Matthews, Landon Matthews, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday October 8, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Barone officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
