  • Sept. 18: 473 overall quarantines; up 29; three new positives — Armuchee High, Pepperell High and Pepperell Primary.
  • Sept. 17: 444 overall quarantines; down two; three new positives — Armuchee High, Pepperell High and Armuchee Elementary.
  • Sept. 16: 446 overall quarantines; three new positives — Armuchee High, Model High and Johnson Elementary. Five fewer quarantines at AHS
  • Sept. 15: 418 overall quarantines, no new positive cases.
  • Sept. 14: 465 overall quarantines, six new positive cases.
  • Sept. 11: 369 quarantines; 16 positive cases for the week of Sept. 5-11.
  • Sept. 10: 260 quarantines.

The latest narrative:

  • 168 Armuchee High students and staff now in quarantine (Had been 180).
  • 39 at Armuchee Elementary (was 56), 45 at Armuchee Middle, Glenwood Primary, 18.
  • Pepperell High has 55 (up 4).
  • Coosa High has 38, up 1.
  • Model High has 24 (up 2).
  • Central Office: 4 quarantined.
  • For the week of Aug. 31: 5 positive cases, 66 close contacts identified.

  • Sept. 17: 289 students, down 2; 18 faculty and staff, no change. One new positive case on Thursday at West End. Rome Middle School continues to have the most students and staff quarantined followed by Rome High.
  • Sept. 16: 291 students, up 11; 18 faculty and staff, no change. No new positive cases on Wednesday. Rome Middle School continues to have the most students and staff quarantined followed by Rome High.
  • Sept. 15: 280 students, down 29; 18 faculty and staff, down 2. One new positive test (West Central). Rome Middle continues to have 102 students and five faculty/staff in quarantine.
  • Sept. 12-14: 309 students, up 32 from Friday; 20 faculty and staff, up 1. Three new positive tests. Rome Middle continues with the most quarantines at 103 followed by Rome High at 72. Two new cases at Rome MIddle and one at Rome High as well.
  • Sept. 11: 277 students, down 9; 19 faculty and staff, up 3. Rome Middle, West End and East Central continue to dominate the quarantined student list
  • Sept. 10: 286 students in quarantine, up 30; 16 staff and teachers, down 1. Total: 302. Rome Middle, West End, East Central have highest numbers.
  • Sept. 9: 256 students in quarantine, down 17; staff 17. 70 at Rome Middle, 62 was West Wend and 60 at East Central.  Staff cases remain at 17, including four at Rome High. Total new confirmed cases: 8.
  • Sept. 8: 273 students, up 84; 16 faculty and staff, down 5. While East Central saw the most dramatic gain, Rome Middle likewise grew again, from 69 to 86 quarantines.
  • Sept. 5-7: 189 students, 22 faculty.
  • Sept. 4: 189 students, down 45; 22 faculty and staff, down eight. Rome Middle had 69 students in quarantine, a drop of 19.
  • Sept. 3: 234 students, up 23; 30 faculty and staff, down 2. Rome Middle had 88 students in quarantine, 27 more than the day before.
  • Sept. 2: 211 students, up four; 32 faculty and staff, up four. Elm  Street (75), Rome Middle (50) hardest hit.
  • Sept. 1: 207 students, down 26; 28 faculty and staff, down 1. Total: 235. Elm Street retains the highest count of students and staff.

  • 44 students, including 35 since Sept. 1 and 9 from August. 24 of those positive cases were reported since Sunday.
  • 11 employees including two this week.
  • 3 Winshape employees.
  • 1 Aramark employee.
