Week ahead: Floyd BOE to meet at 8 this morning to vote on re-opening plans. Candlelight vigil to honor Congressman John Lewis on Tuesday at Town Green. Bartow County Schools to graduate Friday, Saturday.

Monday: The Floyd County Board of Education will have a Called Board meeting at 8 a.m. in the auditorium at Coosa High School to vote on school re-opening plans.  The school system is hoping to broadcast the meeting or else offer it for replay.

Monday: Harbin Clinic Pediatrics office’s of Dr. Melissa Davis and Dr. Henaro Sabino (known as Harbin Clinic Pediatrics Ansley Park) has moved to their new location at 85 John Maddox Connector at their new office today.  With the new building comes a new name! Harbin Clinic Ansley Park will now be Harbin Clinic Pediatrics Rome Davis Sabino.

Monday: The Rome City Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Caucus will begin at 5 p.m. in the Sam King Room. Agenda

Tuesday: The Floyd County Board of Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m., in the Community Room, Suite 206, on the second floor of the Floyd County Administration Building, 12 East 4th Avenue, Rome. Caucus will begin at 4 p.m. in the Commissioners Caucus Room, Suite 204.  Agenda

Tuesday: Candlelight Vigil to celebrate the life of Congressman John Robert Lewis (February 21, 1940 – July 17, 2020) will be held at the Town Green, W. 1st Street, from 7:30-9 p.m. The event will feature Keynote speaker Dr. Joshua Murfree.

Friday and Saturday: Bartow County Schools will hold graduation ceremonies at each of their high schools. Cass High School graduation is scheduled for Friday at 8:00 p.m. in the Cass High School Stadium. Woodland High School graduation is scheduled for Saturday at 8 a.m. at Wildcat Stadium. Adairsville High School graduation is scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m. at Adairsville High Stadium.
