OUTLOOK

For today through Friday, isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected across the area during the afternoon and evening hours. A few storms could be strong with gusty winds, frequent lightning and locally heavy rainfall. For Saturday through Monday, scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected across the area. Some storms will be strong with gusty winds, frequent lightning and locally heavy rainfall.

Heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees can be expected over portions of north and central Georgia mainly through Monday.
