OUTLOOK

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon, mainly impacting north Georgia and portions of west Georgia. Some isolated strong storms will be possible with gusty winds, small hail, frequent lightning and heavy rainfall as the primary concerns.

FORECAST

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. Light southwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the morning.
