Graduates: Celebrating the 130 graduates in Armuchee High’s Class of 2020. Photo gallery and drive-through graduation live stream.

Armuchee High School held their drive-through graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020 on Saturday morning. The 130 members of Armuchee’s senior class and their families each drove through the school parking lot, getting out of their vehicle to walk down the white carpet and receive their diplomas, then snap a few pictures before getting back into their car. Each graduate was allowed only one vehicle with family to watch. Another in-person graduation ceremony is in the works for July at The Forum River Center. The valedictorian for Armuchee’s Class of 2020 is Brindley Richey and salutatorian is Dylan Stacey. You can see the complete ceremony via Facebook live below.

Today: Floyd County high schools’ drive-through graduation ceremonies. The individual high schools will have drive-through graduation ceremonies during the previously scheduled graduation dates and times. Graduating seniors will wear their caps and gowns and receive their diplomas.  Only one vehicle per student will be permitted. Principals will reach out to seniors and their families with specific instructions for these events.

  • Today at 10 a.m.- Armuchee High.
  • Today at 2 p.m.- Model High.
  • Today at 6 p.m.- Coosa High.
