Truett’s Chick-fil-A reopens for breakfast on Wednesday: After closing the drive-through service a week ago after “one or more restaurant Team Members experienced symptoms consistent” with coronavirus, Truett’s Chick-fil-A reopens at 6 a.m. Wednesday, serving through 9 tonight. The dining room remains closed as is now required in Rome but drive-through resumes early Wednesday. The details from General Manager Greg Major:
Hi, Rome Community –
“I’m excited to share that our restaurant will re-open on Wednesday, March 25.
“While our restaurant was temporarily closed, a third-party professional cleaner disinfected and deep-cleaned it in accordance with public health guidelines. Any Team Member who was experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (or who worked in close proximity to such an individual) was told to self-quarantine and will only return to work after being symptom-free for 72 hours, per CDC guidance. We are also taking other preventative measures in accordance with CDC guidance, which include Team Member self-monitoring and reporting, social distancing, hand washing, regular disinfecting of high-traffic surfaces, as well as our normal food safety and hygiene practices.
“When we re-open, we will be serving guests in the drive-through only. For a quick, limited-contact experience, please order your favorite meal on the Chick-fil-A App and pick up in the drive-through.
“Thank you for your patience as we worked through this process. I am dedicated to ensuring my Team Members and Guests stay healthy, and I will continue to monitor this closely, as we all are, in the coming weeks and months ahead.
“We look forward to serving you soon!”
During the break, the Riverside Parkway drive-through and mall locations remained in service. The mall site is now drive-up only as the food court has closed.
