CLEANING BUCKETS FOR SENIOR DONATION

Media release: The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Rome Ga Cares, is raising money for the cleaning buckets for seniors 65 years of age or older. There was a tremendous response yesterday when we announced that we were giving away the buckets. We were able to help 139 senior citizens but there are still more people in need.

If you would like to donate to this cause, please make checks payable to Rome Ga Cares. You can mail your check to the Sheriff’s Office or you can call us at one of the numbers listed below and we will make arrangements to pick up your donation.

Thank you in advance for all of your support. This community has always rose to the occasion to help those in need and we know this will be no different. Once we are able to assemble more cleaning buckets we will make an announcement that they are available and we will begin taking names again.

Thank you,
