OUTLOOK

About a half inch of rain expected, with light showers tonight and the heaviest rain overnight, clearing after sunrise. Isolated thunderstorms are possible over north and portions of central Georgia after midnight tonight. The main hazards will be gusty winds and occasional lightning with any storms.

FORECAST

Today: A 10 percent chance of showers after 5pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1am. Low around 54. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers before 9am. Sunny, with a high near 62. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
