Business: Area Realtors sold 300 homes in Floyd, Bartow and Gordon counties last month; average sale prices ranged from $165,451 to $215,000 (all increases).

October was a good month for Realtors (and sellers) in Floyd, Bartow and Gordon counties, based on reports from the Greater Rome Board of Realtors as well as the Northwest Metro Association of Realtors. Floyd, Bartow and Gordon counties each reported an increase in sales and most sales data last month vs. the same month in 2018. Bartow saw 142 sales followed by 101 in Floyd and 57 in Gordon counties, the data shows.

Floyd County | October 2019

  • Total single family home sales: 101 (9.8% increase)
  • Median sales price: $145,137 (5.2% increase)
  • Average sales price: $165,451 (2.6% in crease)
  • Total active listings: 354 (0.3% increase)
  • New listings: 125 (4.1% increase)
  • Month’s Supply: 3.6 (2.7% decrease)

Bartow County | October 2019

  • Total single family home sales: 142 (23.5% increase)
  • Median sales price: $194,000 (1.6% increase)
  • Average sales price: $215,000 (0.5% increase)
  • Total active listings: 329 (11.1% decrease)
  • New listings: 108 (10.7% decrease)
  • Month’s Supply: 2.6 (11.7% decrease)

Gordon County | October 2019

  • Total single family home sales: 57 (26.7% increase)
  • Median sales price: $170,000 (8.3% increase)
  • Average sales price: $177,000 (1.7% decrease)

  • New listings: 41 (4.7% decrease)
  • Month’s Supply: 3.7 (11.1% increase)
