Today: Making  a Difference, a documentary about locally-based Community Share Ministries, will premiere at the Rome City Auditorium on today at 6 p.m. The film gives an inside look into a local ministry that has helped provide for those in need in Cedartown and the surrounding communities, according to Katherine Dudley, a filmmaker and local college professor. A $10 donation is suggested for each ticket purchased with all proceeds going back to the ministry. Based in Cedartown, Ga., Community Share Ministries is a faith-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to feed, clothe, and house people in need within their local community and the communities around them. They have thrift stores in operation in Cedartown (1116 N. Main Street) and Rome (3100 Rockmart Highway) to help support their ministry.
