O’Charley’s on the market in Rome: A day after another successful “free pie Wednesday,” the restaurant, building and property at 707 Turner McCall Blvd. is on the market for $1.92 million. Businessman Wayne Robinson brought the concept to town more than five years ago. It anchors sits in front of a small shopping center with five other businesses, including Blue Fin. Robinson will transfer the O’Charley’s franchise; the restaurant includes around 7,500 square feet under roof. Craig McDaniel of Toles, Temple & Wright has the listing.
Earlier Sunday alcohol sales at restaurants begin this Sunday in Rome, on Dec. 1 in Cartersville: Both communities passed the so-called “brunch bill” in the Nov. 5 general election. Rome restaurants will be able to pour drinks starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, while Cartersville restaurant will start two weeks later on Sunday, Dec. 1.
