Floyd County DFCS hosts Holiday Blanket Drive: Donations will be provided to residents of our nursing facilities in Floyd County. New blankets and new throws are welcome and
appreciated. Dates donations accepted: Now through Dec. 14. Please drop them off at Floyd County DFCS office, 450 Riverside Parkway, Suite 110, Rome, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (except holidays). Drop offs also will be accepted in the parking lot on Dec. 14. All too often, this demographic is forgotten as an important part of our society and it is our goal to provide each resident of all local nursing facilities with a blanket/throw and bring a bit of holiday cheer their way.
