This is Georgia State’s stadium, the home of the 2019 Georgia high school football championships in December. This is where the campaigns end in December.

 

High school football rankings: According to the AJC:

  • 5A: Rome, now 6-2, holds at no. 6.
  • 4A: Cartersville, 8-0, remains no. 2.
  • 2A: Rockmart remains no. 1 with a 7-0 record.
  • 1A Private: Darlington, also 7-0, remains no. 4.

  • Alabama remains atop the AP Top 25 with LSU now no. 2 and Ohio State no. 3. Clemson, still undefeated,slides to fourth place.
  • Florida is up to no. 7 and plays Georgia next (Nov. 2) while Auburn rises to no. 9.
  • Wake Forest moves joins the hunt at no. 25 this week.
