In mid-July, after 11 years, Kangaroo Jake’s quietly closed, idling inflatables and other indoor activities at Armuchee Village. Parents quickly filled Facebook, in part asking what to tell their kids about a local favorite locking the doors.

Tell them the wait is over. Froggy’s Family Entertainment Center is on the way in the strip center off Martha Berry near Food Lion and CVS.

The operator’s name is familiar, Scott ManganA post on the company’s Froggy’s Inflatables says why:

“Right at a year ago, we announced Froggy’s Inflatables and started our inflatable rental business. Thank you to everyone that helped us make it a success.

“Today, I want to announce we are opening Froggy’s Family Entertainment Center, an indoor inflatables park located in the Food Lion/CVS Shopping Center in Armuchee.

“Look for more announcements soon about opening day, hours of operation, and how to book your next party. We look forward to seeing you soon.”

Congrauations to downtown Cartersville for being named Georgia Main Street Program’s Main Street of the Month for October.
