High school football rankings: According to the AJC:

  • 5A: Rome, at 3-2, remains no. 8 this week.
  • 4A: Cartersville, with a 5-0 record, remains atop the 4A poll.
  • 2A: Rockmart, also perfect at 5-0, holds at no. 1.
  • 1A Private: At 5-0, Darlington remains no. 4.
  • 1A Public: Trion drops out of the Top 10.
