Business: Some potential key updates in City Hall meetings Monday. Raybon joins Hardy Realty.

 

Some items with business interests on the agenda at Rome City Hall on Monday:

  • Redevelopment Committee called meeting, 4:30 p.m. Monday: Top item — Discuss Lofts easement.
  • Caucus before Monday’s Rome City Commission meeting: A Rome-Floyd Development Authority update from Missy Kendrick, who now leads industrial development efforts as they’ve been removed from the Rome Floyd Chamber. This could be key as to how some related items are settling in the chamber-economic development reshuffle. 5 p.m. start in the Sam King Room.

 


Otis Raybon

Otis Raybon, retired publisher of Rome News-Tribune, has joined Hardy Realty as part of the commercial sales team. Raybon, 66, recevied his Georgia Real Estate license from the Barney Fletcher School in Atlanta.He retired from the newspaper in late 2018.
