OUTLOOK

High heat and humidity may cause heat stress during outdoor exertion or extended exposure across parts of north and central Georgia through the middle of next week. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected each day, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. A few storms could be strong to severe with gusty winds, heavy rain and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning.
