Talk about nailing it down. This is Stacy’s Chicken Salad Chick in a photo from June 19. The restaurant opens less than a month from now — Aug. 27 — on Martha Berry Boulevard in Rome.

Stacy’s Chicken Salad Chick has set an Aug. 27 opening of the restaurant at 800 Martha Berry Blvd. On tap will be 15 flavors of chicken salad as well as the traditional sides offered by the chain founded by Stacy Brown, a Darlington graduate.

In 11 years, Chicken Salad Chick has grow to nearly 125 restaurants in 14 states and this one will be a bit different as Brown added her name to it to celebrate her “homecoming” to Rome.

Brooks Building Group has spent much of the year building from the ground up.

Among the first hired was General Manager Shannon England, who moved from Melbourne, Fla. A Sunday afternoon hiring event recently was staged at the restaurant as well. The goal: Hiring around 50 employees; some positions remain open; apply here.

The hours are 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday; closed Sunday.
