Redmond Plaza on Cedartown’s North Main Street has sold for $2,375,000, according to Marcus & Millichap, a California real estate investment company.
The strip center includes seven units together with 52,614 square feet under roof and is anchored by Redmond Regional’s offices as well as one of the region’s rare Dollar General Markets.
The center got a several-million-dollar upgrade in the fall of 2012 as Redmond Regional opened an expanded campus there that today houses several specialty services.
As East Bend (old Kmart) begins, Etowah Crossing has almost a full house: The retail center that has a ringside seat to what Ledbetter Properties hopes to do with the former Kmart site is watching and waiting. We updated you on the existing strip center last week (background). On Monday, we talked with Ashley Askoutti of Heritage Capitol Partners, which manages the complex for Etowah Crossing Partners LLC. The stores between the Goodwill Store and Career Center (owned by the charity) and Dollar Tree are all but filled. There is one vacancy, at 2,800 square feet, she says.
